Specialized in Product Design, Furniture and Interiors, Design Management and Materials Innovation. Initiator of materials.cologne-Die Konferenz für Design und Innovation: the annual conference for designers, interior designers and architects. 

 

Multiple Red Dot Product Design Award, Good Design Chicago Atehnaeum-Design Award and Janus de l’Industrie winner. Formerly Design Manager at Décathlon (1995 – 1996) and Electrolux (1997 – 2006), and General Manager of Material ConneXion Cologne (2006 – 2008).

 

Professor for Design Management at Technical University of Ostwestfalia, in Lemgo / Germany. Focus: Furniture and Interior Design (2012 – 2015). 

 

Red Dot Product Design Award juror 2014 – 2016, 2019. Recently appointed Red Dot Ambassador of the Red Dot Network.
